Are you a motivational and efficient manager? Have you helped set up a warehouse operation before? Would you like to join the fight against food waste and hunger as we expand our operations to cover Sussex and Surrey? This Guildford-based role is part of our highly ambitious growth plan and plays a crucial role in ensuring the success of the new warehouse.
Using your excellent organisational and project managing skills, you’ll help set up the new warehouse in Guildford, working alongside colleagues in the Brighton and Guildford warehouses. The role will include the day-to-day running of the busy operation, managing the ongoing deliveries in and out of the warehouse, line managing the warehouse team and supervising and supporting a team of volunteers from a range of backgrounds.
This is a full-time role based in Guildford although some training will take place at our Brighton warehouse. You will be part of a skilled, supportive team within an empowering, values-led organisation that creates opportunities to learn and is focused on the well-being of its staff.
