Brighton Marathon 2024
This popular 26.2 mile route begins at Preston Park and takes you past some iconic Brighton landmarks finishing along the beautiful Sussex coast on Madeira Drive. This seaside marathon has been running for over 12 years with over 12 000 runners and is known for having an amazing atmosphere with lovely views along the way. Why not tick running a marathon off your bucket list and join the FareShare Sussex & Surrey running team?
Registration is free but we do ask that you raise an additional £400 to support the work of FareShare Sussex & Surrey.

Where will my fundraising go?
3.6 million tonnes of good food is wasted by the UK food industry every year. At the same time, 12.7 million people, including 4 million children, are struggling to afford to eat.
FareShare Sussex & Surrey address these two issues by redistributing food industry surplus which would otherwise be wasted, to the people that need it most.
We deliver food to charities and groups that provide wraparound services plus meals, (like advice and guidance, health support, counselling and befriending) to help break the cycle of poverty. This year we need your help more than ever before to help those most affected by the cost of living crisis.
Already have a marathon place?
If you have your own marathon place and would like to fundraise for us please do get in touch and join our running team! There is no minimum target but you will still receive our guided support in helping you raise as much as possible.
